Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu
Upon your arrival in Kathmandu, you will be comfortably transferred to your 3-star hotel. In the evening, a comprehensive briefing session will be held, providing all essential information for your upcoming Kailash Manasarovar Yatra. Dinner will be served.
Day 02: Kathmandu Sightseeing and Preparation
After breakfast, embark on a cultural excursion to visit the revered Pashupatinath Temple and the sacred Sleeping Vishnu site. You will then return to the hotel for lunch, followed by ample time for final preparations and packing for your yatra. All meals (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner) are included.
Day 03: Kathmandu to Duche / Syabrubesi
Following breakfast, we commence our journey by private tourist coach towards Duche / Syabrubesi (1950m), covering approximately 154km. This scenic drive, lasting about 6-7 hours, brings us closer to the Nepal-China Border, where we will halt for the night in a guesthouse. All meals are provided.
Day 04: Duche / Syabrubesi to Kyirong
After breakfast, we drive to the Nepal-China Border by coach to complete the necessary Chinese border formalities. Once cleared, we continue our drive for approximately 35 km, taking about 2 hours, to reach Kyirong (3700m). Accommodation for the night will be at a hotel. All meals are included.
Day 05: Kyirong to Saga
Today, after breakfast, we embark on a drive to Saga (4250m), a journey of 268km that typically takes 7-8 hours. En route, we will cross the impressive Brahmaputra River. We will settle into a hotel for our overnight stay, with all meals provided.
Day 06: Saga to Lake Manasarovar (Chiu)
Our journey continues after breakfast towards the holy Lake Manasarovar (4500m) at Chiu, spanning 422km and taking about 6-7 hours. This beautiful drive includes crossing the Mayum La pass and passing by Chhongo Lake. You will have the opportunity to view Mt. Gurla Mandhata (7728m) to the south and the majestic Holy Kailash to the north of the lake. We will stay overnight in a guesthouse, with all meals included.
Day 07: Hawan at Manasarovar and Drive to Darchen
In the morning, a private bathing tent will be set up on the serene shores of Lake Manasarovar for your sacred bath, followed by puja and hawan ceremonies on its banks. After lunch, we will take a short one-hour drive (60km) to Darchen (4560m), the base camp for Kailash Parikrama, and check into our hotel. All meals are included.
Day 08: Darchen to Diraphuk (Kailash Parikrama - Day 1)
Today marks the beginning of the Kailash Parikrama. We drive approximately 15 km to Darboche, from where we commence our trek to Diraphuk (4800m). This 9-10km hike brings us to a guesthouse for the night, offering initial breathtaking views of Mount Kailash. All meals are provided.
Day 09: Diraphuk to Zutulphuk Gompa (Kailash Parikrama - Day 2)
This is a challenging yet rewarding day of the Parikrama. We will trek over the formidable Dolma La pass (5650m), the highest point of the circumambulation, descending thereafter to Zutulphuk Gompa (4790m). This strenuous 20-22km trek typically lasts 10-11 hours. We will stay overnight in a guesthouse. All meals are included.
Day 10: Zutulphuk Gompa to Dongba/Saga (Kailash Parikrama - Day 3 and Drive)
We complete the Kailash Parikrama with a 5km trek from Zutulphuk Gompa to Zongdo. From Zongdo, we will drive back towards Dongba or Saga, beginning our return journey. Accommodation will be in a hotel, with all meals provided.
Day 11: Dongba/Saga to Syabru (Nepal border) Today involves a significant drive of approximately 268 km, lasting 6-7 hours, as we make our way from Dongba/Saga back towards Syabru, near the Nepal border. We will settle into a guesthouse for our overnight stay, with all meals included.
Day 12: Syabru to Kathmandu
Our final long drive takes us from Syabru back to Kathmandu, covering 172 km in about 7-8 hours. Upon arrival, a special banquet will be held for all pilgrims to celebrate the successful completion of this sacred journey. Overnight stay will be at a hotel. All meals are included.
Day 13: Departure from Kathmandu.
After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for your departure flight, carrying cherished memories of your transformative Mt Kailash Yatra. Breakfast and lunch are provided.

Physical Fitness & Preparation:
This journey is categorized as a tour, not a strenuous trek or expedition. Therefore, no specific advanced level of fitness is strictly required.
Anyone who feels healthy and possesses strong willpower can comfortably join this yatra.
However, individuals with pre-existing cardiac or respiratory conditions should consult their doctor before embarking on the trip.
Engaging in light morning and evening walks, jogging, stretching, meditation, and regular exercise in the weeks leading up to the trip will significantly enhance your comfort during the journey.
Recommended Clothing & Gear:
Temperatures during the yatra can fluctuate significantly between day and night, ranging from a maximum of 20 degrees Celsius to a minimum of -16 degrees Celsius. Therefore, layered clothing is essential for adaptability.
Please ensure you pack the following items: woolen gloves, balaclava, sun hat, thermal wear, water bottle, woolen socks, towel, light jacket, sunglasses, sun cream, torch with extra batteries/bulbs, muffler, mask, raincoat, sweater, shirts/T-shirts, and comfortable trekking shoes.
Travel Insurance:
We highly recommend obtaining comprehensive travel insurance. Your policy should ideally cover medical emergencies, emergency helicopter evacuation, loss of personal belongings, and trip cancellation.
Trip Booking & Payment:
To facilitate timely visa approval and travel permit issuance, a minimum of 30 days' booking is required.
A 50% advance payment of the total tour cost is required at the time of booking.
Chinese Visa Application:
Your original passport and two passport-sized photographs must reach our office in Delhi one week before your departure date for visa processing.
Please note that Chinese authorities may reject visa applications for yatris above 70 years of age.
Important Notes:
